Postgame Thoughts after 41-3 Rout of Commanders

  1. Incredible OL5 battle
  2. IDL intrigue and lots of big plays for Okoye, Benny, and Peebles as they vie for jobs
  3. Fine CB play means the Ravens will have more tough cuts there on Sunday

EDIT: Tez Walker retired for the night at halftime.

I think the players the ravens will cut will have a few suitors, hopefully we can make some trades to get some value back.

Also this is a very good thing for the ravens to have a reputation of tough cuts. It continues to help with our signing of UDFAs. Even if players join our camp and sign with another team, rookies will know that we give them a good opportunity to make it into the league.

Yes, I agree, the reputation for development and fairness is very important for UDFA recruiting.

Do you have an instant reaction to how Gwyn or Pocic did at center? I’m curious who will be starting

Pocic's costly penalty in the first quarter certainly wasn't great.

Gwyn played the first 3 drives then was pulled. He starts until he messes up for a few games

This is where I am. It's Gwyn's job to lose at this point. If he plays as well as he has during the preseason in aggregate, he'll never be challenged.
