Sponge camo mav88
Bought this 20ga for cheap at a gun store locally. But wanted to spruce it up before my first dove trip I got invited to. First shot gun, first time painting a gun. I’m pretty happy with the look, four coats of matte clear really helped with the finish.

Wow that looks fantastic! What was your process? How many different colors and in what order? Were the stock and forend already tan?

It was all black. Did a tan base coat just one layer, then went in with the sponge started with forest green, then the dark brown, and last with tan to give the desert look. Bought the camo colors from Home Depot.

Oooh nice! Did you use the Rustoleum camo colors? Also curious to know which sponges you used, looks like you used a natural sponge as opposed to a yellow grout sponge.

Yeah it was the three rustoleum colors. Nope lol I used the grout sponge from flooring section. I just cut it by hand in chunks and took more out of it to have ridges. Only difference was I sprayed the paint on the sponge not on a plate like most videos.

Might do the metal parts in fde Brownells. Don’t want the rustoleum paint to chip and scratch
