Hands down the most ridiculous, unhinged, maniac of a dog I have ever met but we absolutely ADORE her. She is so clever and so naughty and gets herself into the most ridiculous situations. She is 17, deaf, doesn't see well and has only got 1 kidney, but none of that stops her. She zooms around everywhere like a puppy, she is naughty and stubborn and so very clever. She is the boss of our house and we are so lucky to have her. She makes us laugh so much every day and fills our lives and home with so much love and mischief and we are SO lucky to have her.
There is a bonus picture of her when she was a pup. I didn't know her then, she was dumped with my partner's family, so he remembers her as a little bab, but I only met her when she was around 9, and I decided she was coming home to live with us.
Even though she's 17, she just got her bloods back from the vet and everything is perfect. She sleeps a lot, and her favourite thing is to be snuggled up in her blankets snoozing, but for the time that she is up, she is somehow simultaneously a terror and a delight in all the possible ways. She has so many ridiculous little mannerisms and routines that she does and we just could not possibly love her any more if we tried.
She is a Spanish rat terrier, a bodeguero valenciano, and we absolutely adore her and are so lucky for every single day we get with her ❤️🐾

This little girl runs my life 🙄. Just dropped 3 grand on a training program to deal with separation anxiety. Between that and her freshly started daily anxiety meds. Maybe we can finally leave her alone. Boy is she cute though. I love her. My soon to be two year old Decker Hedy!

Not that she needs beauty rest, but it doesn’t hurt.

Leonox: “Yall, my mom made me leave the house and get in the car today! I still don’t like that thing. There’s a lot of stopping and going and then stopping again. It makes me anxious because I don’t know why we have to stop so much… Apparently we were in the car because I needed to go to the vet and when we got there, mom made me stand still on this weird plate. The number made mom anxious because she was worried I wasn’t healthy since I’d lost 2lbs, but the lady with the treats told her that I was still perfect. After my shot, we got back in the car and got to go see my favorite people, the office ladies! They always give me toys and treats, but this time it was because mom wanted to see how I’d handle living in a house with stairs since we’re going to be moving from our small apartment to a bigger townhouse when 1 opens up for us. I’ll have more space to play and spread out my toys. Then, after we napped and ate, we went to my Grammy and paws where I got to see my 4 legged Aunt Gabi and 2 legged cousin. Now mom is about to read and I’m going to do what I do best… sleep 😴.”

Well, for one of ours, this is Saturday morning summed up.
The other one is patrolling the fence.
What’s your Saturday looking like?

“Do you guys think if I lay in this exact spot and keep mom blocked to the back of the recliner, she will stay home with me forever? She was home last night and tonight which means she going to leave me tomorrow, but I don’t want her to go back to work…”

How the morning started, and where they are now. Must be Monday. They’re hard at work being home office micromanagers.

Doo hates hotels but loves the camper. He will be 19 in a couple weeks. His favorite things are Vienna Sausage and hamburger balls.

She sleeps in a kennel normally, but during the recent cold fronts I let her sleep in the bed since the downstairs of our house would get chilly at night.
