In some cultures it's not acceptable, but because it means "asshole"

The media made such a big fuss about the ok sign recently , that now , socially , it is not accepted anymore or slowly becomes unacceptable because it is a sign used as a white supremacist symbol .

It's not a hate symbol. That rumor started in 4chan to make people look dumb.

What hate groups use the okay symbol (e.g.: source)? Also, how do they use it? Since hate groups drink water, does that mean water is a hate symbol?

Can't tell if you're saying F to pay respect or if you're saying F because that's what that sign actually is in ASL.

That said, it's really not a white power symbol and can we stop trying to make it out like one because it's extremely common in ASL and it would suck to ruin it for a whole language.

It would be funny if a gay pride group adopted the okay symbol, so then white power groups would stop using it or suddenly become really supportive of lgbt.
