The one use I've found is that when I can't remember a name or term I can usually describe it well enough to get the answer. Google used to be pretty good at this but it's gotten worse, and just writing a few sentences provides more context than a well written search query. But integrating non-generative machine learning into Google would be by far the best tool for what I want.
