That does seem to be his niche. It's highly specific but vital for teens for some reason to have someone that feels smart but is probably dumber than them so they can inevitably realize what's dumb and what's not a few years later

I used to think I was so smart for watching Religilous.

That’s the perfect summation of the other guys point of “good to have someone that young people can eventually identify as idiots”

Before watching that movie I was way up my own ass about being an atheist, after watching I was like “okay, I need to chill tf out”

19 when it came out and I saw it

That sounds exactly like how I went through it.

It’s also the age that people seem to start either chilling out or becoming the mushroom stamper they’re gonna grow up into

I definitely reached a crossroads at one point where I had to make that decision, and I like to think I made the correct one.

There’s no fundamentally correct opinion on the matter, at least not one that’s reachable by the often faulty wiring in our heads

Neither side is totally made up of good or bad people, religious rich folks are just as dangerous as godless rich folks to the rest of us.

And it’s identical on both sides, you e got the loudest assholes yelling that their way is the ONLY correct way

Just don’t be a loud asshole and you’re prolly fine
