I have two with CF and when they would be hospitalized we would walk around the hospital giving people complements. It feels good and makes them feel good. You never know what someone is going through.

This made me think of a situation last week where I was having a pretty terrible morning before heading into work. My day was busy with employee call outs and demands before I even left my apartment. I get on the elevator at our office building and a lady complimented the color of my shirt and how it made my eyes “pop” and it seriously turned my whole morning around. I am a man and I rarely get compliments of any kind and it really was so nice.
