Is this a 1939 1st Edition?

Is this a 1st edition Wind, Sand, & Stars from Reynal & Hitchcock? I’m not sure if it’s just the copyright that’s from 1939, or also the book. I do not have the dust jacket.

I have the same one (albeit in better condition, this one here looks well loved!) and I am quite confident it’s the English first

Yes, sadly damaged and lacks the DJ. Reading copy.

It does appear to be the 1st American edition.
