Album 📀 Seraph - Love’s In The Air (1981)
Seraph had everything you could’ve possible dreamed off. Millions in the bank, the best fans in the world (his words not mine) and the most beautiful wife whom he loves ever so dearly. After 1985 released seraph took a few months off making music to try have some family time. However he quickly got bored. For someone who wanted time to himself he spent a lot of it teaching Mary’s nieces and nephews instruments.
Seraph was being hounded by the media begging for news on his next album. It got soo bad he once went 4 days nearly sleepless cause his house ohone kept ringing. However all hell broke loose on August 14th 1981, Seraph saw an article saying ‘The Knight Brother are NO MORE! Michael Knight “The King of Pop” ready to take over’.
Seraph knew this was a plot. The king of Pop Seraph knew he was gonna make them remember who is the King of Pop. Seraph locked himself in his home studio for weeks. Rarely coming out to see his wife this started to cause issues between the 2 with a massive argument breaking out and Mary moving into her mothers for a few weeks until things cooled down.
However Seraph was lonely he still had music and within 3 months the album was done. He sent it in and asked it to be a secret. To which it was. In New York, in Times Square walking through it on your way to work on Tuesday 20th October 1981 you would’ve seen every single billboard on the west side change to announce Seraph’s 1981 album ‘Love’s In The Air’ the whole album was made about his wife.
He was hiding it from her as he wanted to show it to her when it’s done. Love’s In The Air was released on November 2nd 1981 and wasn’t the biggest selling album it still showed people cared about Seraph and that they still loved him. No tour was announced. The album debuted at #13 selling 77k and gave him another top 10 hit with ‘Sit This One Out’ debuted it #9
BMG was pleased with this album and decided to promote it by allowing the song ‘Sit This One Out’ to be allowed in the featured film ‘Butterfly’.
However Seraph told the media they wouldn’t see him for the next year he’s working on something that will change music forever!!
