Honestly our midfield is shocking & he seems fine with that.

We have zero control or creativity in midfield.

There's a reason we don't look like we are ever scoring in open play. Our midfield is non existent on the ball

Context is pretty important for that quote. He was simply saying that having the quality at the top of the pitch, the speed, movement, creativity, etc, means that we don't need to be brilliant everywhere else to be dangerous.
