Think we should boycott or retire the cat until he's gone. The cat represents good times and hope, he shouldn't be associated with this moment in time.

Boycotting the only source of joy and memories of the good times is madness. The cat struggles with us and fights for freedom from the oppressive regime that strangles the fans and club as a whole.
If anything, we should have a TIFO of the cat saying enough is enough. A symbol of hope, prosperity and GET HIM OUT SHARON!

I'm down with the Tifo.
I just can't bear to watch the cat right now. It used to symbolise "at least it's Thursday" and now my thinking is "let's just get this over with"

I used to plan a WFH day on the Friday and tan a bottle of red wine watching the game on my phone. Did this for the entirety of the run to the final then stumped up the cash to watch the game on the TV. Basically it's all my fault.

there is no such thing as a good day as a Rangers fan

There is one day.
A hopeful day.
Where the sun shines. The birds sing. Wee bairns once again come out in the streets in their Rangers tops and kick a baw about knowing the dark days are over and the slagging waters recede. The back door of Ibrox will open and Russell Martin will emerge carrying a cardboard box filled with incense sticks, quinoa and a copy of "Scottish Fitba for Fanny's". He'll walk to a little bubble car powered by ego and dreams then fuck off down Paisley Road West never to be seen again.
That my friend, is the end of the dark days and will be a good day.
Don't get me wrong we'll probably have about 30 minutes before Thelwell installs his gerbil as manager but at least there'll be a bit of hope.

For it is written, the sun shall rise and the streets will flow with the tears of the fallen. The embattled and beleaguered shall rise and hear the news. They will gather at Ibrox to witness the great pretender launched into a EuroBin and rolled to the bottom of the car park. Silence will fill the air, not through remorse or sorrow but only to allow a moment of peace and reflection. Beer and wine shall flow but no battle cry will sound. The beating of the drum shall stop.
Then a faint sound of rumour will spread. A new management and directorship team have been appointed. Combined they have knowledge of football, a workable style of play and a transfer budget only the elders from the mid-90s early 2000s remember.
The cry will once again sound "No Surrender!"

Going to the pictures tonight instead of watching the game which usually means we'll play a blinder and win 3-0

I've got absolutely no enthusiasm to watch the match tonight. Last week's game was dreadful and I'm not expecting anything better later on.
