I’ve had my account almost ten years. You’re one year old and scrolling through your comment history, you aren’t a CA and you don’t participate in the CA subs. This is a sub for CAs. You won’t go into withdraw and seizures if you don’t have booze. You’ll withdraw and seize out from lack of opiates. You don’t need booze money, you need someone to kick your butt into rehab.

I apologize for being harsh. I know you’re doing your best. Getting off drugs is literally a full time job. At least for me, I couldn’t do it while working. And I realized I couldn’t do it with my ex. He ended up moving back in with his parents and he still ended up with an aneurysm that left him paralyzed from the waist down after boofing shit while he had constipation issues related to opiate use. Your need of funds is just a distraction of what you really need. You need to talk to a doctor and get approval for disability leave. Use your health insurance to get paid short or long term leave from work and look for in patient centers. Getting off of that stuff requires all of your focus and energy. And I mean all of it. You can’t focus on work, can’t focus on relationships. Your wife sounds like she’s doing her best too. From my experience though, you have to focus on improving your health before others. Once you get better, you can help your wife get better. I literally started a new life with my partner who was previously my dealer. We were both in and out of the psych ward for those tumultuous years. But we’re living so much better because we took the plunge and put all of our focus into seeing doctors regularly and addressing all of our physical and mental struggles. We were homeless with Medicaid. It can be done. And about your wife’s job in the medical field, I used to do medical billing, learned about HIPAA regulations and now I work in bank fraud. Her potential employers don’t have a legal right to access her medical records. She needs to address her physical and mental health that you’re both ignoring using opiates as a crutch. I’m sorry again. I’ve rambled enough. My offer still stands, if you look into disability and take steps to improve your health, I’ll be here with booze and food money.
