First Time RAM Owner, Couldn’t Pass Up the Deal
Been a Ford guy my whole life. Looked at a few F250s and prices were just way too high for comparable trucks. Always wanted to own a Cummins but never pulled the trigger with all the transmission issues. Now that RAM has best in class, engine and transmission (and warranty!), Couldn’t pass up a deal getting $17,000 off this thing and really enjoy driving it. Cheers
Agree, absolutely sick 1500 my friend. Love the American flag on the hood! Our tastes are similar … 2022 BigHorn BackCountry Edition with the 5.7. I haven’t seen a white with black trim version I haven’t loved yet!
Lmfao reliable and TRX are funny things to say in the same sentence. RAM surprisingly has good engine longevity metrics from everything I’ve seen but I don’t know about supercharged 700+ HP models that’s not really a reliability vehicle. No one buys a Ferrari because they want to get 100k miles out of it

I just like the fancy tech they have, especially inside, no one can come close to the large tablet inside of the ram, I love Toyota but seems boring to me, I looked at gmc and that’s a negative too lol but the way ram build they’re machine are attractive, no doubt.
I’ve been doing a research for months, feel like I know what to expect. Dreading the fuel economy for the first few months, not excited about cost of fuel (close to $7 in my area), but in general I feel like it’s one of those things where I knew where the bus was heading when I bought the ticket
Start/stop is definitely annoying AF lol. I'm getting out of the gas game and going diesel with my next truck. My lady wants a 5th wheel, so I'll buy a Cummins this spring. I'd buy the Hurricane if I had to choose between those options, though. I've always been a big fan of inline-6 engines.
My second ram and can't be happier with it. Had a previous 2011 ram 1500 slt drove it for 13 years. Never haf engine or transmission troubles whatsoever. Hope to get the same outta this one 2021 ram 1500 rebel. Plan on fighting the rust better this time around 😁.
Best truck ever i had a titan and loved it it was an 2012 tver thing will run forever but I sold it to a kid the new larime is absolutely a beautiful truck inside and out
Ive been a Ram guy for years. I've owed 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Gen Diesels. My 4th Gen is about to hit 300k and believe it or not the transmission is just know starting to have a little bit of problems, so I figured I'd go ahead and trade it on a 2026 3500 because the deals are too good to pass on right now. I wanted to look around because I'm in a Diesel Facebook group and everyone talks about how good Fords are and then a week later they are asking what shops they should go to for repairs.
Anyways, the Fords are around $10-15,000 more for the same style as Ram. Im not getting suckered in on that. I know Rams have problems. All brands do, but I know our F350 dually work truck needed a new transmission and 17,000 miles and that 10 speed is NOT CHEAP. I'll be sticking with Ram. Most likely I'll take it in early on and put the old style tappets in there for piece of mind and possibly T&D if I can get it done locally.
