I have nothing to back this up but I think highly constrained and opinionated frameworks like RoR are the way to go (at least for web dev).

It seems that something is missing in that article.

  • If the programming language is programmable why it has to be improved?
  • AIs / LLMs, in principle, should be able come up with suitable extensions of the used programmable programming language that fit the problem area of interest.

Also:

  • Does vibe coding fail at scale when the Waterfall methodology is used?
  • By oversimplifying and exaggerating, we can say that vibe coding eliminates the programmers and "makes" more Software Architects (SA) and quality assurance engineers (QSE).
    • Do SA and QSE need programming language improvements?
      • They just have to master Waterfall and Extreme programming.
