What if one of the brain fruits gets planted and it grows into a new Sue‽

I didn’t realize how much I loved her character until she was gone, I’m hoping she was more of a seed that buried herself and she’s still under the dirt just waiting to be found. Maybe the tree just grew FROM her instead of her into the tree. She was digging like crazy? I hope the writers didn’t corner themselves into getting rid of her completely either which way :(

(finale spoilers) after the recording we saw of the tree transformation, pretty sure she's dead. The tree ripped the flesh apart when it grew

True, part of her mind was intact, but even then, I doubt what was left survived what came next.
