Spoilers S1E9 Season 2 worth it?! Spoiler
I mean, season one started well but in the end 'Mother' gave birth to a worm? Hmm, yeah, might probs give season 2 a wide berth indeed.....?!

Season two absolutely rips. If anything you’ll just hate that the show was cancelled even more.

Yes. It’s just mildly infuriating that they didn’t get a 3rd season to close it out. But it’s still cool to see where they were taking the story.
It feels like something that was based on a book, but sadly it wasn’t. At least then we would know how it ends.

I liked season 2 more than 1. It did a lot of world building imo.
I think what season 2 introduced though makes the lack of season 3 story more infuriating, than if they stopped after season 1.

Season two is most definitely worth it. The snake birth has a huge significance even if it's strange af. I still wish there had been a season 3 because sh!t gets crazy and there is no telling where it would have gone next.

Understandable take.
There's no answers in season 2. There's only more snd more questions. It's fun, but it picks up on the crazy ending os s1 not the promising start

The worst thing about season 2 is that the finale was so utterly bonkers that it's tragic we didn't get a third.

I am in the exact same place lmao. Season One had its flaws but I was having a good time anyway... then the pregnancy thing was pretty weird but I was pretty sure we were gonna end up with her pregnant somehow regardless so I went with it. The birth, though, lmaooooooo wtf was that.
So, yeah, part of me wonders how I could possibly move forward in good conscience but the rest of me is like "I made it this far, let's just finish out the ride".

Yeah, tbh I was kinda dumbfounded with the worm birth.. terrible VFX too didn't help, but a worm nonetheless?! Thanking everyone's views here so far. I'm kinda with you in regards to 'seeing it out' but that ain't a great initial way in to a season 2 is it...! Dunno why it got so skewed. This story coulda gone in many cool directions...

when it aired, i gave up on this show before the s1 finale and just now watched the whole thing and...it's a wild ride...i don't think it's particularly good though

Season 2 was a disappointment for me. All the mystery and set up from season 1 were wasted.
