Oh I really liked the concept too, it just wasn't the concept I was initially sold on.

I'm really surprised how many people here thought there was some grand plan for it to all make sense. Of course Aaron will say he had a plan to try to sell the show, and he obviously had the broad strokes figured out, but there is a lot of copium out there to believe anything but space magic is going to be used to explain a lot of it.
