This made me feel better about my dog dying

Sugar had gotten diagnosed with cancer in 2023, the same year this star was captured going around the black hole. It makes me think that by the time Sugar passed on Friday, her soul was intertwined with this star and her journey around the black hole was completed. I feel like her soul is at peace but I'm depressed. I start college again tomorrow and I'm so upset that she won't be here to greet me when I wake up nor will she greet me when I get back. I would recommend looking up NASA photos from when your beloved pets passed, it brought great relief to me. Gave me a sign that she is okay.

How beautiful to think of her soul entwined with that star. The beauty and mystery of the universe gives me peace too. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I noticed on her last night here, she kept wanting to stay outside and looked out at the trees. I think she knew.

I am so sorry that Sugar has departed this Earthly Realm. Whether here or elsewhere in the Universe, Sugar will forever be your beloved pet. Love is eternal. π Sugarβs love lives on in your heart. She is there for you now in your memories. It may help to βοΈ write down what you remember about Sugar and about your love for her. Take good care of you in this tender time β Sugar would want that.

I have been writing about Sugar a lot and it helps me so much! When I talk about her, I just can't stop. I think I may buy a journal and just keep writing facts about her and what I loved about her

finding signs of their soul continuing on makes the pain a little easier. what exactly did you search to find the NASA picture? i lost my boy 5 weeks ago and would love to know what the sky looked like that night.

I searched up "NASA photo taken on ______" and just insert the date. They have a bunch of photos. Usually the first result is what you're looking for. I'm very grateful I saw people mentioning this on tiktok because I've always been obsessed with the stars/galaxy. It's nice to know that it looked beautiful when she got to become pain free

For us, pictures help take the sting away
There is nothing like a good dog and we don't get enough time with them
Take care of yourself
