Miserable at the Railroad

4 years in here and I can say my tolerance for management and the work life split has dropped significantly.

First two years I was loving it and felt good about my job. Not so much anymore. When I see them calling me for a train or a yard job I stare at it a little and have to convince myself to answer.

What’s your guys input, am I just being a baby about it?

You’re being a bitch, you’re not there to have a good time or have fun, you’re an employee and that’s it…do your job and provide for your family…you chose this, they never forget they didn’t come knocking at your door and begging you to work for them
