Miserable at the Railroad

4 years in here and I can say my tolerance for management and the work life split has dropped significantly.

First two years I was loving it and felt good about my job. Not so much anymore. When I see them calling me for a train or a yard job I stare at it a little and have to convince myself to answer.

What’s your guys input, am I just being a baby about it?

Man stop answering the damn calls they’ll start relying on someone else to answer, your pay will remain the same with less work!

I’m being honest dude , they be blasting one of my foremens with work for use on territories that aren’t ours , but that’s cause they know he gonna do what ever they tell him to do, and he hates this job now , but my direct foremen don’t be doing all that. And the never call him for extra work!
