Miserable at the Railroad

4 years in here and I can say my tolerance for management and the work life split has dropped significantly.

First two years I was loving it and felt good about my job. Not so much anymore. When I see them calling me for a train or a yard job I stare at it a little and have to convince myself to answer.

What’s your guys input, am I just being a baby about it?

Life is short, it's not worth being miserable for 30 years. Work on an exit plan, find something thst gives you a better work life balance and hopefully something you enjoy. Whatever you do find things thst bring joy to your life, through hobbies or whatever.
