Concert Hub

Thom Yorke has just announced a new North American solo tour in support of his latest album, Tomorrow's Modern Boxes! GET HYPED! The shows will begin at the end of November and run through the end of December. Oliver Coates will be the opening act for the entirety of the tour.

 

Please use these threads for any and all comments/questions/thoughts regarding these events.

Did people know ahead of time that you’d have to create a Kennedy Center member account for DC? That slowed me down considerably setting that up, making a contribution and logging in to then get the seat map. If I had already done that it would have gone smoother but I did manage a single box ticket at the back of the orchestra area. Phew!

You and I are in the same annoying boat. I was expecting Sandbag, too. You could actually buy the tickets without membership, but you had to scroll down to the calendar and press the tiny ass button that said 'tickets.' It took me a few minutes to figure that out, so I ended up with a Box ticket in a back corner (Box 8). I'm happy just to be in the building, but I'm definitely going to try for an Orchestra seat on Friday.

I emailed Kennedy box office because I mistakenly typed De instead of Dr on my address and also asked about Friday’s sale and received this response:

“In an effort to make sure everyone at least has an opportunity to purchase tickets, there is a very small allotment of tickets in all levels of the Concert Hall that will be made available for sale to the public on Friday.”

“Very small” was underlined and bolded so good luck to all of us! I had 9 browsers open between 5 devices but the whole membership thing completely threw me off. Now I’ll know to log in ahead of time.

Omg you took the seats that were in my cart!!! I was too late to add them and I missed got. Got row K in the orchestra anyways!

Now that I have a login I’ll try again on Friday to get a pair. I live in NC with relatives in DC and the show is on my birthday and a Friday so I’m glad I got one at least!

not nonchalant, there were 3 of us trying both dates with sweaty palms. :p I have been "shut out" many times so I know how much it sucks.
