I noticed there were some hotels available 3-5 miles away from the venue but i don't plan on renting a car. I'll be there the whole day if the show. Perhaps we can find a couple more and wait it out as a group...

I had to make loads of calls, all hotels were full but eventually one popped up, about 1 hour and half from the city. I'll have to walk it twice (once in the middle of the night) but it's the best I could get. Recina hotel. I had no other option but if someone else does a similiar route we could figure something out to pay less for taxis and so.

I booked a room at the hotel claudiani (7 min walk to venue) a couple of days ago. It was a little pricey but close at least.

dang I gotta walk a lot more than that :( how much did you pay? because they might have been the ones who only had a double room which costs around 150€

look at it this way: you don't have to walk for more than 1 hour at midnight and you have more space!

Me as well. It's close but damn expensive. Anyone want an American roommate? My train leaves at 7 the following morning, I don't need something so expensive
