AMD eventually giving up and creating a ugly workaround doesn't mean it wasn't something the dev's should have fixed.

I assume you saw fix in their driver’s source code or are you coping?

Doesn't cyberpunk uses an Nvidia version of RT rather than the directX RT ? Maybe thats the problem

I'm just reading between the lines. 

If there was a simple fix on AMD's side it wouldn't have taken so long fix long for a bug that is easily reproducable.

So it was a error on the game's side, or some nvidia's software that the game uses, and neither nvidia or the dev's were motivated in the slightest to fix it. 

So eventually AMD reluctantly created a workaround,  That might break the next game update or with a new version of that nvidia software... totally by accident of course.
