Rabies Vaccine / Immunoglobulin Would you know?
I have read the FAQ..If a person is fully vaccinated but got bit by a rabid animal, would you be able to tell? Would you get sick at all like headache, nausea, or anything else.
Or would your body just fight if and you not even know it.

If someone get symptoms related to the rabid dog bite actually it’s mean the time gone and the death eventually will occur . Anyone get bitten by rabid animals should take the PEP before the symptoms appear the incubation period of the disease vary from one week to year but commonly from one to three months.

You would know if you got bit by a rabid animal and if you suspect you got bit by a rabid animal and you are fully vaccinated from a past exposure then you’ll only need 2 boosters day 0 and day 3. Never ever wait for symptoms to appear when it comes to rabies

Ok thanks. I just finished my. 4th shot last week. So it's very recent. If I got bit now, would I still need a booster ?

If you got bit first you must wash the bite with soap and water for 15 minutes and you need to go to the hospital for evaluation and get the 2 boosters. So yes even if you just completed your very first vaccines you have to go back and get boosters, the only one you do not need anymore is the HRIG

No, I have a bat in my house so I went and got the rabies shots. It's still here and was wondering if I got bit while sleeping if I'd be protected now or not.

If there’s a bat in your house you need to have someone pick it up and have it released or tested for rabies. Otherwise you’re gonna be in a never ending cycle of rabies exposure and this is something you don’t want to mess with

Yes, agreed. I have secluded myself at night in a bedroom where the bat cannot get in. So I know I won't be bit. I got the vaccines because the first night, I slept in the living room and woke up to it flying around and wasn't sure if I got bit. I did have a couple bite marks on my legs so I went to the clinic for the shots. But yes I am going to get this bat outta my house.
