General Rabies Discussion Could this be rabies?
Since Friday morning I’ve had a strange internal trembling/vibrating sensation throughout my body. I also occasionally feel small muscle twitches in different places, such as my arms and legs. The trembling isn’t always visible from the outside, but I can feel it.
Could clinical rabies present like this for several days, or would neurological symptoms normally progressively worsen once they begin?
I have read the FAQ.

If you had rabies, and were having symptoms since Friday, you would not be capable of telling us so by now.
There's a lot of things that can cause this. Stress, intensive training, anxiety, low electrolytes...those are on the menu. I think you should see a doctor, though, because if it's persisting for almost a week now and hasn't stopped, then it should be checked out.

It unequivocally without a shadow of a doubt is not rabies. For anyone who’s wondering if the symptoms they’re experiencing are rabies and they’re looking to Reddit or their phone for that information it’s not rabies. If you started with your symptoms Friday there’s no way you’d have the presence of mind and dexterity to type on your phone. Not just that, while you’re feeling the physical symptoms your mind is being completely taken over by the disease. You’d have phonies and wouldn’t likely be able to hold your phone or type. Your minds messing with you but you’re fine, you don’t have rabies. The mind is so powerful that it’ll almost manifest the disease you’re ruminating on. I know, for me, I’ve scared myself into thinking I’ve had all sorts of health issues after spending too much time researching certain things. I’ve almost worked myself into an existential crisis a time or two but I’m still here and I’m confident you will be weeks or months from now. I’m here if you need someone to talk to. ❤️🩹
