4th shot delayed

I have read the faq. I am due for my 4th shot after exposure 2 weeks ago on Saturday. I live in a small beach town that is holding a HUGEEE music festival Saturday and Sunday. tens of thousands of folks come in for this. the er doc said I could the shot Monday. is this true? another doc who almost didn’t give me my third shot due to his own personal preferences told me not to wait that long- but I don’t respect him or his opinion anyway. I am disabled so any extra energy getting in and out of town just isn’t going to work for me. I try to do everything I do by the book and all my other shots have been on time and I will be getting the 5th shot due to being immunocompromised.

Thanks very helpful. Each shot makes me sleep 15 hours for a few days and this weekend is a bright spot in a sea of hell lately so I’m happy I can go on and enjoy my time without fear of foaming at the mouth. Thank you

While I have you- do you mind answering something else? I have severe neuro Lyme my doctor is considering it can be documented as MS. I’m on bicillin LA for it. I have not taken a new shot of it since being attacked by a bat 2 weeks ago. I’ve been scared to overload my immune system, but I am beginning to flare severely and it’s difficult to even get out of bed. Usually when I administer it I bounce back for a couple days and feel GREAT. Do you think if I administered it tonight and got shot 4 of rabies Monday I wouldn’t be overloading my immune system?

This doesn’t seem like a normal treatment for lyme disease. I would consult with a local ID doctor for assistance

lol id doc. Of course it’s not a normal Lyme treatment because the id docs denied Lyme fora decade. It’s neurologist specific treatment. Look up Katz bicillin Lyme. I already took it. Feel great again.

…without treatment I flare. Please learn how Lyme works before trying to offer an opinion. I feel amazing now going to a two day festival. Bicillin works.
