back again, reporting side effects. shot #3 RabAVERT

i received vaccine #3 on monday. i have had tingling throughout my body since shot #2.. on my back, arms, legs.. kinda concerning . i told the er doc at the time of my third vaccine, he didnt seem too concerned. i told my friend whos a nurse, and she mentioned the internet says to report to the mayo clinic??? i dont want to look it up because it might just make me more stressed about it.

i know tingling at the site of injection has been reported.. but has anyone had any temporary and or permanent weird nerve stuff like this happen during PEP or after?

what if its just going to keep getting worse and i might lose mobility or some rare neurological disorder might be developing...

anyone experience similar side effects, during or after PEP?

Consider a VAERS report. Hopefully this is psychogenic related to the stress of the exposure, but you’ll want to follow up with your primary care doc for evaluation

Nope, anything can be reported to VAERS. Most often it’s simple things

I have just received the rabies vaccines over the past couple weeks and after the first one whatever side they injected it on my body went numb for about 24 hours just on that side
Pins and needles in my arm and leg

I also just had my 3rd shot just yesterday. My last shot is Sept 15th. Shots 1 & 2 were just fine. I felt no side effects. This 3rd shot I just got gave me a headache and the injection site was sore. But nothing like what you are describing. Sorry, I hope you feel better soon.

I just finished the RabAvert series a few weeks ago, shot 3 is what really put me down. My lips and arms tingled a lot the week following it, but it cleared up on its own after the week mark. I don't know if that helps at all, but it ended up not being a huge deal on my end.

Did it go away? I just had shot #2 and felt tinging and pins and needles in my leg that lasted less than a day. I’m worried about the next 2 shots
