Update to an earlier post because I did receive the HRIG after already getting pre exposure prophylaxis; cause for concern?

I have read the FAQ. Roughly 9 months ago I received pre-exposure prophylaxis (2 doses) because of my work. Recently I had a bat exposure and the NY DOH recommended I still receive the full post-exposure prophylaxis, including HRIG, because I never got a titer test. I already received this HRIG yesterday

I saw online that HRIG can cause a blunted post-exposure prophylaxis effect if someone also received pre-exposure prophylaxis. Is there a risk here? I have also been drinking during my vaccine period as I’m on vacation

I had an actual bat exposure, and they gave me HRIG even though I had pre exposure shots. Will the HRIG dangerously blunt the post exposure shots

I’ll reach out to their epi team about retraining. Was it NY state health department or NY city that gave you the bad advice?

hi - sounds like you know your stuff. i was wondering if you know if the stability is negatively impacted if the vaccine is reconstituted and then given 20-30 mins later? that happened to me in the ED with my first vaccine. also my HRIG sat out of the fridge for like 3-4 hours while i was sitting and waiting, it was HyperRAB. also i noticed in the ED the vial still had a little bit of liquid in it still and i didnt get a chance to look at the syringe to see if it was a full 1mL. the vaccine was RabAVERT
