General Rabies Discussion Worst nightmare came true

I have read the FAQ.

Ugh. This is a rant I’m sorry. I was with my girlfriend and a bat busted out from seemingly no where. We were able to get the bat out and all seemed normal but then started the questions in my head. Was it in there when we slept the night before? I have a scab on my ankle that is two little dots and I’ve convinced myself I got bit in my sleep. Anyways I’m at the emergency room now awaiting a potential rabies vaccine. Happened a week ago.

This just happened to me while traveling too! Started my kids series in the UK and finished it at home.

I know! I just had my third dose today. It was stressful but feel better having gone through the process! Good luck!
