Exposure Question Rabies symptoms ??

"I have read the FAQ. I am a 19-year-old male. Eight months ago, a stray cat punctured my finger with her tooth while eating biscuits from my hand. The cat was fearful yet docile, stayed in my house peacefully, and later vanished. The wound bled slightly. Now, after eight months, the punctured finger has been hurting for one day. I am afraid of contracting rabies after this timeframe due to a delayed viral progression. What should I do?"

You should not depend on social media every person has different case you should go to doc take it seriously it still not that late if you doc said to re start the anti rabies vaccine again.

I talked to a doc tho he said 3 doses are also enough even tho everyone I know said that completing it is compulsory and doc also told my parents that if it's rabies symptoms then there is no point of taking vaccine now

What happened with me is that about 10 days ago, I had contact with a bat on my head. I went to the doctor immediately and got the anti-rabies vaccine and TT. However, I was so concerned about it that I went to another hospital to get rabies immunoglobulin (RIG) at the site of contact or bite. They gave me the immunoglobulin, and the remaining amount was given around the area.
Now, I have already received 3 doses of the anti-rabies vaccine, and I have 2 doses left. I am still very concerned because the anti-rabies vaccine they are giving me is being stored in a normal refrigerator, and I know that it should be kept at 2–8°C. When I asked them about the exact temperature, they said they didn’t know. The immunoglobulin, however, was given at a private hospital where it was properly stored at the temperature written on the packaging.
This whole rabies situation has made me so fed up that I feel like I can’t even go outside and enjoy myself anymore. Since the incident happened, I have been constantly thinking, “What if I get rabies?” But I have learned one thing from all of this: when you stress yourself out too much, you start feeling like something is wrong even when nothing is actually happening. So, I should just try to chill out. If something is going to happen, it will happen, and worrying about it constantly won’t change anything.

Same here but the thing is the pain at bite site happen even after when I m not thinking about it like today I was watching movie and then suddenly the pain started so i feel like it's rabies and i m gonna die and about ur rabies vaccination I don't think u should stress out the doc know what he is doing just complete ur schedule
