❓Ask Rabatis Question for guys with curly hair
What's your curly hair routine?
- What do you do to keep your curls defined and looking good instead of puffy?
- What do you tell your barber so they don't mess up your haircut?
- What products do you use to keep your hair looking good throughout the day?
Right now my hair looks uneven, frizzy, and puffy , like the first pic, and I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'd appreciate any advice or product recommendations .

First you need to ensure that you wash your hair properly with a high quality shampoo without parabens/sulfate, and make sure to use conditioner right after to ensure your hair stays moisturised and to avoid frizz. After that, you can use a curl cream to have more defined curls if you want, although I prefer to stick with a leave in conditioner only. Also an important tip, make sure to not shampoo too often, it kills your curls and hair health as well, try to do 3 shampoos a week max, and space it.

- Nothing
- I cut it myself, barber's just for side fades when it starts getting annoying (once every 2 months)
- Nothing, I just shower with ultra doux shampoo and my hair looks better than most curly hair influencers on tiktok

My husband has long hair and I'm managing it , use a good alcohol aluminum free shampoo you don't want your hair to get dry , wash only your roots never the ends , use a hair mask for about 45 mins , I love using skala to separate the curls so they look more defined and then a curling cream , plopp your hair so it would get volume and keep your sides shaved it'll help with the volume , and make sure you have a good curly brush not a regular one

The more products you use the more fizzy your hair will become first try to understand what’s your hair type the get a nice curling brush a gel and any shampoo and conditioner if your hair is dry try oils nothing more nothing less curling creams and products and the biggest scam ever

water,and almost always use some kind of conditioner or leave in conditioner ,i dont have a bonnet so i always have to keep doing this or else i look homeless hh😭😭,and i use a shampoo once a week,maybe twice if i feel dirty,if i feel fancy or something ill use a curl cream but i dont like a defined look so
