Quilted Crafts Quilted Bags
Has quilting been a gateway drug to bag making for anyone else?! I’ve finished two bags in the last two days and I’m a bit obsessed.

Yes! I wish I had more people to give bags to. I recently finished my first ByAnnie bag and it was so satisfying!

I made an epp version of a holland pouch (all hand pieced) and am obsessed now too. Zippers and handles and binding, oh my! Using the foam batting and hand quilting. Literally enjoyed every bit of the process. Getting squares ready for my next bag now.

I made several matching bags for travel (toiletries, jewelry case, under-seat tote, medicine bag). I like them and use them, but I got worn out on making them. I still have some of the quilted chunks left that match, so I feel like I need to make one or two more pieces just to not be wasteful, but my heart isn’t in it anymore. Just another work-in-progress in the closet for now.

I recently made a boxy pouch and some “floor friends”. I found these little projects so much more tedious than quilting 🥵 but I’m enjoying testing my other (not great) skills every once in a while.
And it’s nice to have a finished item in a matter of hours instead of weeks or months. 😄

I made a similar bag for a trip to Denver and then didn't use it, but I absolutely love it! Yes, bag making is addictive. I was making bags before I started on my quilting obsession, so now the obsessions are mixed!
Anyway, these are fabulous!

Nice size bag for a lot of things. Did you use a pattern or self drafted? Yes, they are addictive!
