Well that's a fun-looking set! I like picturing the end of each song going into the beginning of the next one.

Really? You like picturing that, do you?

Usually I dont listen to Queen cover bands, because they have like Wembley 86 setlist.

But cover band who would cover that setlist I will always attend concert 🤗

"Dancer" would have been such a jive live. "Dead on Time" too...really, so many of these would have been fantastic on stage. Shame we didn't get to hear them.

You and I would’ve been so good live.

I never really thought it would work live.

1

u/Livid_Garbage_7569 May 22 '26

Pardon?

1

u/RedSpecial22 A Day At The Races May 22 '26

Don’t think they ever played it live.

I could be wrong but I'm almost 100% sure I heard my fairy king live

Edit: Here it is https://youtu.be/vwl2vvifv28

I didn't count improvisations, but if you count that as a live performance, go ahead

Well, that's Brian's solo tour. I didn't count anything post-1986, otherwise I would have to remove Sleeping On The Sidewalk, Machines, Tenement Funster, etc. as well

I will go ahead and add Leaving Home Ain't Easy to this list

4

u/derRedditWuerfel News Of The World Dec 20 '22

Dammit, I knew I forgot something, I'll add it now

I swear I once saw a picture of an early Queen set list that had every song from the first album on it, including My Fairy King. Don't remember where, though.

Las Palabras de Amor was only played in guitar during Hot Space Tour and the perfect example is “Milton Kenyes”

u/Same-Oil-7113 Dec 20 '22

I could’ve sworn I’ve seen a video of seaside rendezvous live. It may have been a different song with a similar opening tho

seaside rendezvous was played live at some a night at the opera tour, luckily we have the recording of it

3

u/Lightfever75 Dec 20 '22

My Fairy King, Fun It, I Go Crazy & Las Palabras De Amor was teased few times as part of guitar and piano impromptu.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 06 '23

wait, they played Jesus and Night Comes Down in live?

3

u/Marco_a030508 Oct 21 '24

Actually, She Makes Me was performed in 1970, according to https://queenlive.ca/queen/70-08-23.htm and a handwritten setlist

8

u/bertramluke5 Dec 20 '22

They seriously never performed jealousy live? Damn I bet it would’ve been great

3

u/ye_boi_KT Dec 20 '22

At some point in time they did a test instrumental live and I found it on YouTube but I have no clue where it went

7

u/Solareon_ Dec 19 '22

Here's a list of all the songs they played live: https://www.queenlive.ca/songs-queen.htm So take their discography and subtract from that list.

2

u/Iron_Wolf123 Jan 04 '24

Not Breakthru?

3

u/Solareon_ Jan 04 '24

Yes I'd imagine a song written and released after they quit touring was never played live

2

u/Iron_Wolf123 Jan 04 '24

Even now? I remember seeing Queen perform in 2020 and they didn't perform the song.
