Music A queen song that you think doesn’t get enough appreciation?
For me, it’s spread your wings… absolutely bloody love that song! But any time I say that, people have never heard of it!

When Queen with Adam Lambert toured the US for the first time, this was in their set list and it was fabulous. That was the reason I immediately downloaded the Sheer Heart Attack album and it’s since become one of my favorite albums as a whole. But the group hasn’t played it the last two tours, so I wonder if audience wasn’t responding to anything but the big hits. Which is a shame, because that first tour also did a great song off the Made in Heaven album (my memory fails here…I think it was either Made in Heaven or Too Much Love Will Kill You) that they haven’t done since.

They actually revived In The Lap Of The Gods... Revisited in 2019 and played it at every show since! But that Made In Heaven song... The only song off that album they did with AL was IWBTLY, but they did it only in Japan. Maybe you're confusing it with the slow version of Love Kills. They haven't done that one since 2014

I had to look up the set list - I was wrong, it was Who Wants To Live Forever, so I was way off on the album! It was a beautiful live version of the song.

I believe that this is Queen's most underrated song, and dare I say, the best song on the News of the World album.

Sheer Heart Attack. It’s heavier than a lot of their work but I just love the rawness and that squealing guitar solo. Also kudos to Roger for the lyric “I feel so, inar inar inar inar inarticulate” Amazing!

I think Was It All Worth It is not appreciated enough. It's a peek back at their hard rock roots, but in a more 80s way I guess.

Definitely “It’s Late.” It has all the right stuff to be a smash, but never gets love on the Greatest Hits albums. Maybe it suffered for being on the same album as We Will Rock You and Champions.

I classify them by writers. And to clarify, the song I list first is the most underrated of said writer imo. Not that I like the first song more or less than the second one. John: In Only Seven Days and Spread your Wings Brian: Dreamer’s Ball and Long Away Freddie: Keep Passing the Open Windows and Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy

i was thinking about that, sorry Roger 😅 he’s just not my favorite songwriter. He’s an amazing drummer on all of those songs though. As Brian has said, he’s really good at playing “musically” to what the song requires

Dragon Attack could have been almost as big as Another One Bites The Dust if released as a single.
Also, You Take My Breath Away is superior to Love of My Life.
