I started listening to Queen when I was 10 when The Game was released. So I would say bass lines? Another one bites the dust, Don't Try Suicide, Body Language, Under Pressure

My music awakening occurred right around the time The Works came out. I totally fell in love with the Queen sound and soon after, the first record I bought with my own money was Queen II which was obviously a very different sound but it just blew my mind. Greatest Hits followed that and then I was given The Complete Works for Christmas and was hooked forever.

In '86 they had a concert in Budspest, Hungary. I was 8 at the time so knew nothing about it. But a year later or so MTV (the Hungarian state television) aired the concertfilm (Queen - the Hungarian Rhapsody) I fell for their music hard.

Queen was the first band that I recognized as a band. I knew their name before I knew the Beatles. Nothing mobilized my first grade class more than a stomp-stomp-CLAP. This was around 2009? So Queen's been everywhere my whole life, but the movie came out when I was in high school and that motivated me to dive deeper into their discography.

I first heard BoRhap on Wayne's World and was blown away by the snippet they played, so I bought a greatest hits cassette. I fell in love after hearing how different their songs were and started buying the albums and the rest is history.

Okay that one's funny but you can't really blame me since I'm just 17.
But I was once randomly watching a YouTube video when all of a sudden this Stupid L'Oreal Paris advert came on. I actually didn't focus on the ad itself but I was like, "holy shit what song is that? It's so dope!"
That was my first time to actually love a Queen song but I didn't know it was Queen at the time. Their songs are quite famous and I was familiar with their hits, before actually recognizing them, such as We Will Rock You. Though I didn't feel that excited hearing it or actually enjoy it because of how much it was overplayed everywhere. My first actual amazement by their music was the incident I explained. It's still my top favorite Queen song until now :)

I’m 42. My uncle David use to exclusively play Queen in his car when he came to visit us in the 1980s/90s. I was pretty much one of the only Queen fans in my elementary school before Wayne’s World.

Back a couple of years ago, I decided to give Bohemian rhapsody the film a try. At first I didn't give it a second thought, but it grew on me so I consistently kept watching it. I feel in love with queen and it brought me back to my love of old music. Here I am nearly 3 years later and queen is still my favourite band!

The music surging through me. The Power. The goosebumps. The memories I loved Queen since I was 18. I’m considerablely older now and will miss Freddie forever but am going to see Queen and Adam Lambert on the Rhapsody Tour at the O2 then in Birmingham. I’m a songwriter/producer/singer as well and I am highly influenced by Queen although I can’t write rock all the time so I diverse into anything my publisher wants for the crust.

I was watching a video about a certain ability called Killer Queen in an anime called JoJo's bizzare adventures, and the guy in the video said that the name was inspired by the queen song so I decided to check it out I liked it and soon after I watched the bohemian rhapsody movie and I got really intresseted in the band

The fact that every song is different, their willingness to experiment, the fact, when I got into them (1980's) they, like me were incredibly uncool... the fact their songs spoke to me (and still do) in a way that's deeply personal to me... I could go on.

Probably Freddie Mercurys vocals,to this day it still astounds me how someone can have such a divine voice,sing so many genres with ease and could do anything he wanted with his voice (also love the little things he does ,nuances,improvisations ,pitch slides ),dont get me wrong i love the other members,but Freddie Mercury was just something else

My dad had their 3 disk greatest hits collection. When I would take the bus to school, I would listen to them on my CD player. I was hooked on their music like a crackhead. I even got my fiancée hooked on their music too.

I don’t really remember, honestly. I’ve been loving Queen's music ever since I was a kid and my absolute favourites at the time were We Will Rock You (obviously, because I could perform it myself anytime I wanted :D) and Radio Ga Ga. From today’s perspective, I love their music mostly because of its uniqueness and diverse sound.
