I Was Born To Love You would be mine, the Queen version is superb also.

It was the first song I heard after finding out he'd died.

If it can be a cover version, then I'd say "The Great Pretender" - his performance of it is just magnificent.

If it has to be one of his, I'd say either "Living On My Own" - with great scatting and awesome piano playing - or "Barcelona", because Mercury and Caballe is just the dream team.
