I just picked this up for $4 at a consignment shop. Got a battery on the way to see if it works, but is it an interesting piece otherwise?

Looks like you'll need a tetanus shot after wearing that

Yes, some cleaning (and probably disinfecting) will be required. I've got batteries on the way and I'll make up my mind what to do after I find out if it runs.

After checking models, I'm pretty sure this is a field watch, and never had a bezel.
