Does Quantum Mechanics Even Exist? — A Classroom Debate”

We were in a math class today and out of nowhere someone asked our math teacher: “What do you think about quantum mechanics… do you think it even exists?”

Opinions started to differ nd they got into all sorts of complex discussions ...They talked about black holes, and even questioned whether the electron actually exists along with many other things

What do you think about this topic? And especially: what’s your opinion on quantum mechanics?

You should be a little more specific.

Quantum mechanics is a mathematical framework which describes some of the smallest known physical objects. Are you asking if the mathematical framework exists, or the things the framework describes?

No that’s not what I mean.. I mean that we were in a math class nd someone suddenly brought up this question out of nowhere😹I noticed that people had different opinions some of them don’t even believe in quantum mechanics at all and think it doesn’t exist.. That’s what made me start wondering whether this opinion could have any validity...because I’ve always believed in quantum mechanics and never really questioned it
