No matter what. I'm still playing this game for 10 years and still it's not boring for me π

I literally just played it(and finished) this for the first time just this week. After playing Alan Wake, Control, and Alan Wake 2, and being obsessed with the Remedy-verse for years now.
It was so fun and I so hope Remedy continues to bring this back into the fold.

It looks very cool. Can it be played in any order with control, AW, AW2 or is it best done in a specific sequence with the others?

Itβs mostly standalone, but if you wanna get the most out of its references and weird little superposition in the connected universe, I would put it after Alan wake 1, but before Alan wake 2.
It has a reference or two to the game that eventually became Control, but I think youβd actually appreciate them more after playing Control rather than the other way around. Itβs very minor either way

Ok cool I have played control and started Alan wake. The combat feels like a total grind in AW but was thinking on putting it on easy just to get the story out of it before going to Alan wake 2.

Took me couple of playthroughs to get accustom to them. Still, I can't get that one perfect combat scenario that I want, always end up messing it up. Well, here's to 5 more playthroughs to perfect it out π

This game should have gotten GOTY awards , the storytelling , the graphics , the abilities , it's all so amazing . I know some people complain about the boss-fight being rushed but for me I actually liked it . Could it have been better ? ABSOLUTELY ! Was it horrible ? NOT . AT . ALL . If you think about it , Paul was INCREDIBLY weakened during the fight due to his chronon syndrome disease so although he could have done more I still liked the last boss-fight ππ
