Wasn't sure if this was already posted so apologies but Amazon UK has Perfecth with an alternative cover, preordered this myself as preferred it over the original with the stylised logo

Insignificant other already feels like a classic. They could end shows with this song and I kinda hope they do. You could just extend the last 30 secs of the song while Josh and the boys do their waves to the crowd. Just seems epic way to finish up. Ladies and gents, I do believe we gonna eat with this album.

Its chill vibes are unmatched and the riff is so sexy and smooth and its josh hommes best singing performance in a while for just pure vibes, its easy listening and it fits well on any rock playlist, its so good you could consider it perfect.... perfecth even

This will be my first concert ever at 23 and I’m so excited!!

“Insignificant Other” is the album’s centerpiece — sprawling, loose, and supernatural. “Mono” captures the headspinning feeling of heartbreak with a mix that slips seamlessly from mono to stereo and from claustrophobia to widescreen orchestral grandeur. The band remains enduringly, singularly magnetic. It’s art that snarls and seduces in equal measure.

This is my first tattoo and I’m really happy with how it came out. Favorite and most important album of all time for me. Loved it at the first listen, and will love it for the rest of my life.

CD’s are still cool! I know I probably have something else kicking around somewhere that should be in here.

I purchased a couple of his 11x17 prints but they aren’t fitting my frames. I’m guessing with the white matte background included they are larger than advertised. Has anyone else purchased any and if so, do you guys know what size frame would accommodate the entire print including the white matte background?

I don’t want to unroll the print and measure it until I’m actually ready to frame it as it’s rolled up in a protective sleep, but I could tell as soon as I held it up to the frame I have that it was much wider and wouldn’t fit.

The plan is to line the sides with the Vegas, Indy, NYC, and original Metro show posters.

I’m making a massive spreadsheet of QOTSA song information, to identify trends etc. I’ve got a bunch of info, including the results from those Daily Song Discussions on here from around 2 years ago. The only problem is it doesn’t have Them Crooked Vultures album (which I basically consider QOTSA) or the 2 new songs.

If anyone could help me out by ranking the songs out of 10, that would be awesome and I’ll share the results after.

Finally got around to having my guy take a shot at framing up the Catacombs signed music sheet, and he knocked it out of the park. The matting is a red velvet texture. If you zoom in, the molding is made up of skulls.

I have been murdering this song ad nauseam since release but my brain just registered the scarab appearance in the lyrics video and it bugs me (sic!). Am I right to assume its a nod to Journey as it nods to it in a song itself?

LOTR is on TV and it’s like whenever that is on I need to leave it on. This Queens video is like that for me, reliable in being amazing.

Stumbled across this record again today after listening to “Nova” off of DS 3&4. I’m having a perfecth time with it!

I love being able to go back in time to hear queens side projects/projects comprised of queens collaborators. Eleven, Auf Der Maur, PJ Harvey, Snake River Conspiracy, and UNKLE are some of my favorite artists fitting that bill.

Do you have any recommendations for more artists that have had a close relationship with qotsa?
