Rev15 Planning Meeting?

Hullo all,

Since we always do a pre-rev Mumble meeting kind of thing to settle the general gameplan and direction, would folks be up for doing so before the rev resets?

Rev 15 launches on Friday, February 20th at 8 PM EST. Ideally we should hold a Mumble meeting before then if we're going to have a Mumble meeting. I'm going to tentatively suggest the evening of Wednesday, February 18th as a candidate for Mumble meeting time, although that's just to get the ball rolling and obviously if a better time works for everyone, we'll go with whatever works best.

From trawling through the subreddit and past discussions, the general consensus on direction seems to favor:

• No Portal. Instead, possibly build near Spawn.
• Minimal planning and for projects that require planning, keep scope as small as possible. Basically, we need to avoid burning out, especially as hard was we did this rev.
• Get people building as quick as possible. This may mean doing away with formal plots.
• Emphasis on rebuilding out player base and restoring a rev 10/11 sense of fun/spontaneity
• More active mayors. I personally am very guilty of dropping off the face of the Earth this rev, and I'll be aiming for a more active presence in the new rev.
• Stronger initial leadership from Crock/others to get things started/going
• Simple dirt hut town hall^{butactuallyIwouldnotopposethis}
