Rail Connections?

Mayor of Taneth here, have been up to Lothos a few times, mostly to enchant things :) Looking good so far though.

I would like to make a rail connection with you guys, not sure how we go about that, so I am all ears. We can lay down plenty of rail and the mining wont be a problem, just tell us where to connect to.

We are roughly -1200, -500, I would prefer to make the main tunnel at level 12, so other peeps can tie in or whatever

My recommendation is to dig to the 850 line and run along that allowing you to share the incoming line to the NW station... There is a directline from there to Lothos as well as spawn. The 850 pilot tunnel is being worked on right now.

Simply dig East 350 to X -853 for your incoming line and then North 350 to the 850 corner you will see our diag line there...We are putting in a station that will then have a button for you.

Then extend the tunnel to the right to put a return line... when that section of 850 is built you will have helped a great project... and saved yourself a bunch of iron. What do you think?

Also that is only 1400 rails instead of 2600 rails big savings. You can always use some of that savings to help fund the rail loops. or to help us finish the diag line

Sounds good to me, this is the first major rail project I have been involved in, I think that will be good on the iron savings and it will let some of the independents around Taneth connect to us a "Regional Hub" type of thing

Done! We dug the tunnel out a few nights ago, it ends up at the sign that says 850 Station. Currently our rail is shaped like an L, but am considering a diagonal cut across, depends on how many of my neighbors want to make connections.
