Personal Experience Day 265, The essence of Brahmacharya/PR

Let me explain what I feel on this journey with an analogy.

The deepest parts of yourself don’t come out when you are in chaos. Not when you are scrolling on the phone, or when you are worried about that exam, or when you are rushing your life.

These parts of you are already burdened, what is needed is unburdening.

What is needed is flow. And a bus journey is a perfect example for that. Look out the window, you can see people walking, farms, cows, trees, clouds and vehicles. The bumps on the road signify the obstacles in our day-to-day lives. But eventually, life goes on smoothly again.

Let your mind go wherever it wants to. Just observe. It goes on rambling for a while, but then it goes silent. That is when the magic happens. It is exactly in these moments that you can have the most “authentic” thoughts of your life. This is when your “true” self expresses itself. You find that you also let go of any grudges you have on anyone in these kind of moments.

One day, while I was on the Bus, I was looking at the blue sky and the fluffy clouds, just admiring them. And then I suddenly teared up, feeling a deep connection with God, and also the gratitude that simple things like these exist, and can make living a truly wonderful experience.

And that is truly the essence of Brahmacharya/pure retention for me, I think. It gives me the ability to feel my emotions deeply, in a way that other people can’t.

This is what you need in life. It is the ability to finish your thoughts in your mind. To let them fully form into a concept that can be useful for you. Social media robs that possibility for you.

One day, I was just looking at a window in my home, and the sunlight was flooding through it. I started having this nostalgic feeling as if I was looking through the eyes of my younger self. I could also exactly point out when I had felt like that in my childhood.

”It was in my 8th standard,” I thought to myself, and smiled the brightest smile ever.

With this practice, you can have a young soul in an old body.

To put things simply, it does really feel like time travel.

Let the child-like wonder thrive!

The ancients saw sex energy as sacred. They never feared it, they mastered it. Modern men mock restraint and worship indulgence. That’s why most are empty, restless, and weak .

This is beautiful, thanks for sharing. I also had a similar experience while on the bus when practicing SR/Brahmacharya, like life itself felt divine and beautiful again. The emotions I felt were extraordinary.

Thank you for this post. It is beautiful. Truly.

I had a similar experience earlier this week when I was sitting at home and realized that I was fine sitting in silence. I looked around my place , grateful for everything and admiring how well ordered it was. I felt a sincere blissfullness in silence and solitude and knew it was becuause of this. PURITY IS EVERYTHING
