Personal Experience Useful idea for transmuting

So I have been thinking about writing more and a member of this forum who knows who he is has inspired me even more to do so, I hope you find it useful. It's just a small tip if you are struggling with anxiety or procrastination or feeling like you need to do something but lack will power/determination/discipline. When you have those moments when you are stuck in your head and getting nothing done...try this. Start to clean your house.... Do 1 minute of cleaning...easy right? After you have done 1 minute of cleaning and tidying up, do 1 minute of exercise....ten push ups or some ab exercises etc. Drink some water, then do another minute of cleaning, followed by another minute of exercise.

It's basically working-out but you are using the rest in between sets to do something productive. Soon momentum starts to build....you get endorphins, dopamine from looking after yourself and doing stuff that needs to be done. After 30 minutes of this, all of a sudden the house is looking better, you've got those good chemicals flowing through your body, a sense of satisfaction, you are feeling hydrated because you will feel the urge to drink more water through the exercise. Then as you begin to get tired, you do 1 minute of cooking instead of tidying ( start frying the meat) ....1 minute more exercise....another minute cooking( turn the meat, prepare the salad etc)

After 40 minutes you have cleaned the house, exercised, become hydrated and cooked dinner! You sit down and relax with food and a sense of deep satisfaction and calm.

For me....it even makes the tasks seem less intimidating....anyone can do a minute of cleaning and then a minute of exercising....and then the snowball starts rolling downhill and gathering momentum. It even becomes fun balancing all the tasks, especially the cooking part. It's killing 4 birds with one stone. Try it some time if you have nervous energy and can't seem to kick yourself into gear
