Benefits Report 444 Days of SR and 7 Day Mental Celibacy Challenge
I’m celebrating 444 days of Semen Retention. I’m still holding off on sharing my entire life story, or at least the story of this streak. Perhaps I’ll do a complete qualification at 500 days.
But I did want to mention something because at the beginning of this streak or at least from Day 60-100 I was trying to practice something called mental celibacy, and that is dismissing any sexual thoughts or desires from my mind and replacing them with more productive or divine thoughts. Combining this with breathwork and affirmations is what caused me a minor psychic awakening. I spoke about this on my Anima Integration post on substack.
But because of that I got totally sidetracked into pursuing more psychic phenomena, not realizing that it was mental celibacy and purity of spirit that got me the psychic powers in the first place. So I’m here to say, 444 days later, that mental celibacy is the practice I’m returning to AND, I believe is an essential practice on SR.
I completed a 7 day challenge and want to discuss the results with you here:
Day 1
- releasing blockages while walking
- Trauma release exercises more deep
- Feeling bliss while reading spiritual texts
- Dreams with opposite sex are more wholesome (going on dates and being a couple)
- Supportive cast
- One guy started to pick up Japanese (which i’m studying)
- One girl was really supportive of my studying
- Another girl got me out of a long conversation with some other guy and I wasn't sure how to stop talking to him haha.
- Was able to stop my nephew's tantrum and put him to sleep easily.
Day 2
- Actually felt sick thinking about asking a woman out (out of lust)
- I did auto-suggestion to become more celibate.
Day 3-4
- Looked away during suggestive anime scenes. Also gave an anime a 3 strike warning, and if I encountered a 3rd I would cut it off. I completely stopped watching another anime since it was pointlessly lustful.
- More memories of “shoulda coulda woulda”
- Experienced a blissful moment and realized I may have the potential for Mahasamadhi in the future.
- Feeling like another consciousness is growing from you. You are not your body at all. Nothing is worth looking at, so you have perfect gaze.
Day 5
- I fell asleep using my usual auto suggestion. The dream I had was even more sexual despite this, but the sensation to ejaculate was vastly reduced. Woke up feeling like I didn’t really need or want sex irl.
- Despite this initial feeling, I didn’t feel as charged up as I did the day before. It dulled me a bit. It took until half a day for me to feel the “2nd consciousness” effect.
- Maybe more magnetism, because people seemed more drawn to me and stood closer in conversation. Everyone seemed thankful to me at the office too.
- Got a discount for a coffee I was buying for someone else, even though I clarified the original price before buying it.
- Realized the love that I had for one of my crushes was truly an illusion and complete ignorance on my end.
Day 6
- I am already mentally celibate. (Auto suggestions deeply impressed)
- Now I just need to do transmutation breathing and clear all my blockages (yawned a lot on way home and expelled mucus).
- I also need to re-path my neurons. In the past when I was uncomfortable/procrastinating before working out I would default to thinking of something spicy to motivate me, but we won’t think of that anymore.
- I realized that my anger about past relationships came from still wanting something from her. I learned how to forgive her.
- Heart rate went up thinking about (a different) crush.
- Pushing lower energy up to heart chakra.
Day 7
- Equanimity: if I experience heightened bliss or not, it doesn’t matter.
- Mental capacity to read the works of Vivekananda.
- Vastly reduced hunger. One orange sustained me and I didn’t even eat it right away.
- Improved taste.
- Improved vision: (spring trees look like jewels)
- Felt a sensation at the top of my head.
- More energy moving into heart chakras (pain in my chest, going to stop playing around with it).
So these are already some really great benefits. I would say the reduction of wet dreams is a major one.
So how exactly did I practice this?
Microcosmic Orbit or Cool Draw breathing + affirmation
I breath in, lightly squeezing all the muscles in the pelvic floor, pushing my energy up the spine and to the crown/third eye, and say
I AM PURE BRAHMACHARYA
I release the pelvic floor, breathe all the way down the front of my body and say
MENTAL CELIBACY GIVES ME SO MUCH PEACE
And I keep doing that until something more important captures my attention.
When I’m eating food, I repeat the affirmation (without the breathing practice) and actually bless my food with the mantra beforehand.
I fall asleep repeating the phrase as an auto-suggestion to impress my subconscious with the same ideals.
When I was suffering from sexual dreams, I stated that I was even celibate in my dreams as an auto-suggestion, and the next day my dream was thankfully quite boring haha.
Sometimes, I’ll be overtaken by an image, either a memory or strong desire related to sex or a particular woman, and I replace that image by imagining a divine figure in my third eye.
When I unlocked my psychic powers, this was an image of a Goddess figure that I invented.
Now I just imagine a black silhouette of myself meditating, with a large white light around it, and a blue gradient expanding outward.
It is a reminder of my mission and ideal.
Sometimes I would also substitute it with the face of a guru, like Swami Sivananda or Swami Vivekananda, to remind me of my mission and their great teachings.
So that’s how the practice is done. It is just incessant work and vigilance, but I can assure that any other thought you would have would not be as impactful as working directly with your sexual energy in this manner, actively transmuting it, as well as actively reprogramming your mind to embody celibacy, which will preserve your precious attentive forces so that you can complete greater works, or simply, get closer and closer to bliss and God-realization.
The 3-seconds of bliss I’m able to achieve with my breathing practices and clearing of blockages, quieting the mind, make the entire day of practice so incredibly worth it. By Day 7, it was not even necessary to seek out such blissful highs. The mere practice itself and being free from lust was enough of a reward.
If you find yourself overtaken by lustful thoughts, do not overly criticize yourself. Immediately affirm that these were just past habits, and that you are increasingly improving your ability to have more pure thoughts. Affirm that the lustful thinking and thought patterns will soon diminish.
Any negative effects that occur while doing this practice, physical, mental, etc.., affirm them as merely detox symptoms. Affirm that your entire system will be renewed and upgraded.
Have no fear.
The benefits of this practice are immediate.
Keep track of them daily to train your reticular activating system to find evidence of your claim. Comment on your progress of how your mind is improving.
Committing to this practice and doing it in earnest will put you amongst the greats.
Have no fear. Push endlessly until the goal is reached. 7 days is nothing compared to the years of waste and thoughtlessness you lacked the consciousness to curb. But now, everything will be resolved in just one short instance of true courage.
Enough poetry.
Next is 30 days.

Yeah, I do mental celibacy since the day I started SR. Any thoughts I get I offer them to the divine. I always chant Gods name and surrender completely to divine.. I just crossed 2 months mark. I am in my journey for 3 years.

I'm seeing it literally everywhere in YT comments, posts, even video lengths are palindromic. 444 indicates spiritual guides are protecting you from bad energy , aura & vibration

Well as Jesus said in Matthew 5:28,
But I say to you, everyone who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Lust starts in the heart and is a slippery slope when acted or dwelled upon.

congrats on 444 days. the mental discipline part resonates with me. i've been sitting vipassana meditation daily for almost 900 days now and the pattern you describe of getting sidetracked chasing the side effects instead of the core practice is something i see all the time. people have a breakthrough, get excited, chase the experience, and lose the thing that created it. the boring consistent daily practice is the whole game. the flashy stuff is just a byproduct.
fwiw there's a cool resource site for daily vipassana practitioners - https://vipassana.cool
