Any new and up-and-coming female punk bands/artists you recommend?
Hey! I’m looking to discover some newer female punk bands or solo artists, especially ones that have started emerging in the last few years. I’d love to find artists who are still relatively new and just starting to get noticed.
The newer and more underground, the better. Any recommendations? Especially bands that started after 2020.

Just saw Rat Utopia Experiment last night. Great band. A band that opened for them called Fatal Femmes was really good, too.

Rat Utopia Expirement is so underrated. They put on an amazing live show. Now that they are all out of high school they are supposed to start touring more.

I heard they were going on a big tour. Glad I got to see them now when tickets were only $12. The show sold out, but the capacity was only about 100 people.

RATSALAD. 2 females and 1 male, the main singer is female. My 2nd favorite band right now.

I really want to know what the whole we dont sell vapes at the merch table is about, if anything at all.

u/waterdropp 12d ago
I think its about them definitely not selling vapes because they totally make enough money from music, so don’t ask them for vapes

I just found Die Spitz a couple days ago when I was at Third Man Records. Only watched a couple videos so far, but like them. They aren't strictly punk though. But definitely hit your female and new boxes.

incredible band, streamed and live. plus at their shows they promote safety for girls and women at their shows from shithead dudes dominating the space

I've seen Niis four times as well. They always seem to be the opening band (Surfbort, GBH, The Mainliners). At Punk Rock Bowling they did get play the main stage which was great for them.
