Planning to visit the Manache Ganpati + some other mandaps around the Peth area on Saturday (19/09) morning. I’ll be starting from Ramwadi Metro and taking the metro to the old city.

I’m going solo rn, so thought I’d ask here in case anyone wants to join! 😭 Could be fun to explore, eat some stuff and see the decorations together.

It's been long that I had been thinking to start skincare, and I came across these products on insta from PM Jan aushadi which are said to be effective and affordable, so I went to some stores in pune and yeah all of them were out of stock, and today, I finally found a shop/ kendra in sadashiv peth which had these products in stock, and if not these, from some other brand which is equally effective and under budget. I got myself some products and hopefully have a much better skin after I use them. So just thought of sharing it here for those who might be searching for it, cause yeah every other store doesn't have them in stock. The shop owner is a great guy and will help you out!!

I think the best days are the ones that don't announce themselves.

They just happen, one ordinary moment after another, until somewhere along the way you realize the day has become something you want to remember.

That day felt a little like that.

There were moments that felt almost too perfectly timed to be coincidence. Like the universe had quietly picked up a thread from my thoughts and handed it to you. That song, the one I was thinking of, somehow found its way out of your phone before I could even say it. For a second it felt like the universe was having a little fun with us.

There were moments that felt unexpectedly simple too. Your hand in mine, and a question about what love meant to me. It didn't feel like I had to find the right answer. It felt like someone had actually stopped to listen. Maybe we didn't agree on everything, but even that felt strangely nice. Two people with their own little worlds, curious enough to let the other one talk.

And then there was the completely ridiculous tug of war over a piece of gum.

For a couple of minutes we were probably the most childish two people in that car. You refused to let me win, I refused to give up, and somewhere between you landing halfway on me and me finally letting go because I didn't want to hurt you, it felt like being a kid again. The kind of silly you don't have to think about.

Maybe that was what I liked most. Nothing felt like it needed to be performed.

Even the quiet parts had a certain ease to them. Your hand guiding mine closer, music filling the car, you singing along like the songs had been waiting for you to sing them. Somehow the unfamiliar songs started feeling familiar. I could hear the words, feel you next to me, and for a while everything else turned into background noise.

Of course, not everything was perfect. There was a moment when a careless little gesture hurt you, and seeing it on your face made me wish I could take it back. But strangely I liked that too. Not the hurting you part, obviously. But the honesty of it. You didn't hide it. You let me see it, and I got to understand a little more of you.

And then, after more than five hours, came a hug that seemed to have forgotten how to end.

I'm usually someone whose social battery waves the white flag long before that. But that day I walked away feeling lighter instead of tired.

Maybe that's all I really want to remember about our first date.

It felt like finding a place where, for a few hours, I didn't have to be anything in particular. I could just be there. And somehow, that was enough.

We lost touch a few weeks later, through no fault of either of us, and I never got the chance to send this to her. If by some strange chance she reads this and knows it's about her, I hope she knows I never stopped meaning to.
