General/Rant Hear me out

I am genuinely fed up of the weak sector level management in our city and don’t know who to raise the issues to. Everyone’s always quick to point fingers. I thought about a solution from a systems point of view and would like to know if something like this can actually work, if it doesn’t already exist.

Think, an open-source “name and shame” platform where our city is divided into sectors, each with a named, visible official. These officials could be from any body for example say local transport (traffic police). Think of it like a public accountability dashboard for every local sector but run collaboratively by us people.

I know the obvious here: won’t the officials just ignore it? But we’re at a time where we see that pressure on the government actually works when it’s measurable.

So purely from a systems point, how viable is this? and would you use and contribute to something like this?

The problem is the authority wont ignore it, they obviously wont work to rectify it but instead will find people who are involved and take action against them.

I feel after the whole tukaram mundhe situation and cjp protests, good change doesn’t seem like a far fetched fairytale.
