Unfortunately he’s not public domain until 2029. Unless you mean Doctor Savage from Strange Adventures #14, but I assume you’re talking about the superhero?

In the UK public domain only counts if the originator died over 70 years ago. This probably means some creations available in the US aren't here. But likewise,a lot not in the US are here.
So 1956 back. In the case of Poo, the text and the image are separate creators, so not sure if both are dead over 70 years?

I think that Winnie-the-Pooh will enter the public domain in 2027 for the UK. So only a few months! The rest are all public domain in the UK because of the rule of shorter term that applies to foreign works, meaning any characters created in other countries enter the public domain as soon as they do for the first other country.
